Your work. Your privacy.

What we keep
Pair stores your account email, artist profile, artwork files and descriptions, saved opportunities, research requests, submission drafts and exported versions so you can return to your work and reuse it. Hosting and authentication services also process technical information, such as IP addresses and request logs, to operate and protect the service.
Signing in
You can use an email code or Google. Google sign-in provides your account identifier, email address and basic profile information. Pair does not request access to your Gmail, Drive or contacts. Supabase manages authentication, and Resend delivers sign-in emails.
Connected assistants
If you connect a chat app to Pair, it can read your profile, artwork details, accessible listings, submissions and saved-file history. You choose whether it can also edit submissions, prepare previews, save PDF versions or request research. Information returned to the chat app is handled under that provider’s privacy policy. Pair keeps connection permissions and a record of assistant changes, including their results, to prevent duplicate requests and help you review activity. Disconnect in Connections to stop future access; disconnecting does not remove information already received by the chat provider.
Artwork and submissions
Your uploaded artwork and submission drafts are private to your account. Download links are temporary, so treat them as private while they remain valid. Pair does not send applications to galleries for you. You decide which downloaded files to share. Public homepage examples are separate from artists’ private workspaces.
Catalogue contributions
Research results enter Pair’s review queue automatically. Manually added public listing details are submitted for review by default; you can turn this off in Settings for future additions or submit individual listings later. Personal notes and search prompts are not included in shared catalogue entries. Pair administrators review entries before publication.
Opportunity research
When you request research, Pair sends your selected location, disciplines, medium and search text to xAI to find and assess public opportunities. The research integration does not send your uploaded artwork, submission packs or account email. Avoid including private information in search text. Research requests ask xAI not to store responses; this does not mean the provider keeps no operational or security records.
Saved and hidden listings
Pair stores your saved and hidden listing choices and any optional dismissal reason. These are private workspace preferences. Administrators can see aggregate feedback on public listings to improve catalogue quality. Hiding a listing does not remove it for other artists. These preferences are removed when you delete your account.
Services that process data
Pair uses Supabase for accounts, database and file storage; Vercel for the website; Railway for background processing; Resend for authentication emails; and xAI for requested opportunity research. Google processes Google sign-in when you choose it. These providers may process information outside your country under their respective service arrangements and privacy policies.
Cookies and browser storage
Pair uses authentication cookies to keep you signed in. Unsaved submission edits may be kept in your browser tab’s session storage to help recover a draft. The app clears these drafts on sign-out. The current app does not include advertising trackers.
Website analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count visits to our public homepage, Connections and Privacy pages and understand how people find Pair. It provides aggregate statistics such as referring sites, browser and device types, and approximate location, without analytics cookies. We exclude private workspace and sign-in pages, and remove query parameters and URL fragments from tracked page addresses. We do not send artwork, submission text or account details as analytics events.
Keeping and removing your work
Saved work remains available until you remove it or delete your account. Deleting artwork or submissions queues associated files for removal; earlier exported submissions retain their saved version until those submissions are deleted. Backup copies and service logs may remain after removal according to the providers’ retention arrangements. Files you have downloaded or shared are outside Pair’s control.
You can permanently delete your account from your profile settings. This removes your sign-in identity and saved records, and queues all private files for deletion, including abandoned uploads. For a copy or correction of your information, or a privacy question, contact hello@pair.space. You can also remove Pair’s access from your Google account; this does not by itself delete your Pair account or saved work.
